Chapter 6 of Genesis reveals the fact that there were a group of angels who desired the daughters of men and married with them, producing offspring called “The Nephilim”.  The Bible also tells us that these were strange creatures, men of renown, men of whom many stories were told as in Green Mythology.  They were both respected and feared by pure human stock.

God had already warned mankind to marry and produce children each after his own kind. He very much hated the idea of half-human, half-angel offspring, regarding them as the progeny of sodomy.  It greived God that He had created man, so he planned for another flood to get rid of these terrible half breeds.  However, He made an exception for Noah and Noah’s family, because they were pure human, untainted by halfling blood.  God told Noah to build a boat that would carry two of all species to once again begin operation of Earth when the flood was over.

Meanwhile, Lucifer changed his name to Satan (meaning adversary), openly declaring war on God.  He had a third of the heavenly angels with him and also had access to the heavens, so when the flood came Lucifer avoided the flood, not even getting wet.  While he waited for the flood to clear, he formulated another plan to further his aim to defeat God and the humans once and for all.  This time he instructed his demons to go to the daughters of men once again and produce more Nephilim.  He thought if he could taint the bloodline once again, that God would finally destroy all mankind.

God had his own plan.  He adopted the Hebrew tribe, keeping them safe from the Nephilim.  From this tribe of Abraham and David,  would come the bloodline of Jesus, the Son of God, who would save mankind by paying the price for Adam’s original sin and the sin of all mankind.

It was during this time that Satan and his army were very busy producing tribe after tribe of Nephilim who also intermarried with human women whose progeny would be halflings, fourthlings, but whose blood was contaminated.  These tribes were giants and great warriors. In The Exodus, Joshua sent out scouts to Jericho.  When the scouts returned they told Joshua that the people there were giants and they were mere grasshoppers next to them.  It was then that God told Joshua to make war on Cannan and kill every man, woman and child.

Note: God seems very interested in ridding the promised land of Moses of all Nephilim probably to protect the Hebrew from any connections with the Giant Tribes to avoid blood contamination in the future.  There were still many, many of the Giant Tribes that were scattered over the Mideast and there would be future generations of Hebrews who would marry into these tribes.
