SEVEN BILLION AND COUNTING

For years I have been asking the question who is THEM? Is THEM the president? The Congress?  The Senate? Before this administration came into power, at least we all had the “illusion” of being a free, democratic nation, and most of us trusted our representatives to represent us.  Not so anymore; we are all too busy watching CSPAN and monitoring government that we can’t even pursue our hobbies.  A sorry state of affairs.

In 1954 a group of very wealthy and influential people met at the Bilderberg Hotel in the small Dutch town of Oosterbeek.  Sponsored initially by the Rockefeller family and the Dutch Royal Crown, “THEM” became The Bilderberg Group, comprised of news agencies, big corporations, politicians and even entertainers.  These people would meet in secluded spots, surrounded by tight security, and always in secret.  No reporters were allowed so the attendees could “speak freely without fear of their words being misconstrued by the public”. There were some attendees, however, that disagreed with their tactics and their agenda, so they would “leak” these secrets to chosen journalists.  However, THEM always knew that anything reported could be ho-hummed by our words against yours or you must be a constpiracy theorist.  In this way THEM could always deflect their accusers.  Until now.

Presently in the White House, THEM supported and financed their own Manchurian Candidate to take the United States from even a resemblance of a free Federal state.  In five months time,  the U.S. has become a semi-socialist-facist state at the speed of light.  Normal Americans who are conservative have suddenly  become enemies of the State. The fortunes of investors disappeared overnight. Small businesses have either bankrupted or scaled back.  Banks, insurance companies and car companies are told what to do and how much money to pay their employees by the government.  Construction companies aren’t building anything and nearly 10% of the population are jobless.

Now we have been “told” that human activity is causing greenhouse gases bringing on a “premature” global warming.  Folks, CO2 doesn’t go up into the atmosphere and cause anything.  It is 1.5 heavier than air so it can’t get up there; it is absorbed by plant material.  Plants like it and produce oxygen for us to breath.  So what do all these experts really mean?  I think they mean that there are nearly 7 billion souls on the earth using resources and that’s way too many.  Among this 7 billion are 3 billion useless eaters.  Folks over 65 are suddenly useless because they are eligible for social security and medicare, and of course, we all know that Congress have stolen and spent 55 billion of the SS Trust fund and left paper IOU’s in their place. Then  there is the matter of unborn babies aborted in their 3rd Trimester, thrown into a closet and left to die, also useless eaters.  Further, there are the disabled, infirmed and military amputees also considered to be useless eaters; and also the homeless, poverty ridden families living in cars.

All around us we see plans forming to delete America as we know it.  The latest from the THEM is plan to impose forced vaccinations on an unsuspecting public for swine flu, proclaimed by the World Health Organization and the UN as a pandemic.  Thing is, swine flu doesn’t meet the criteria for pandemic.  If that doesn’t work to get rid of U.S. citizens, then there will be denial of medical services and medicines for folks over 65 (in the words of the prez himself) if his “healthcare” bill is passed.  There are a lot of reasons that THEM want to get rid of US.  Just think  — they can own everything and they will have (maybe) 2-3 billion people around who will be at their beck and call — they will be KINGS AND QUEENS of the whole world and 2-3 billion are a lot easier to control.

This subject is one that even the most rightwing radio talk show host will stay completely away from any discussion of the Bilderbergers and they will tell you “I want to keep my job”.   Neal Boortz admits that he wants to keep his job and Mark Levin says “I never discuss conspiracy theory” and hung up on his caller.  Looking back at the last five or six months, there is no denying that much has happened that used to be merely “conspiracy”.

If I Were President ……

I have thought about this many times.  What would I do if I were President and had a reasonable Congress? Upon thinking about this and reading many books and opinions, I decided that our Constitutional government is the most perfect among all of the governments and experiments that have been tried on the Planet on which we have been allowed to live.  Only the return of Christ would be better.  Our Constitution was written and performed based on God’s Law.  So there would be a number of changes I would make to return this nation to a nation of We The People of the United States.

  • Teach our children the tenent of the Constitution and Bill of Rights original to the Founders’ principles.  Accompanying this, the Bible should be taught and prayer invoked into our educational programs so our children will know who they are and why our system of government is important. Civics would be part of the permanent cirriculum so our children would be able to hold governmental office and continue its form and purpose with knowledge instead of their own ideas. Also with this knowledge, they would be prepared to vote and choose leaders intelligently.

Founders Leaped 5000 Years (Now We Leap Backwards)

It took 180 years to write the Constitution and Bill of Rights.  The founders began to develop our Great Constitution by first reading and studying the many forms of government; being thinking men, they began to  form the framework years before anything was ever written down.  These men were farmers, teachers, military men, blacksmiths and others from all walks of life.  The thing they had in common was a desire to learn, so they studied the philosophies of Plato, Aristotle and Cicerio.  The book The 5000 Year Leap describes the reasons why a Republic was chosen over a Democracy :

There are many reasons who the Founders wanted a republican form of government rather than a democracy.  Theoretically, a democracy requires the full participation of the masses of the people in the legislative or decision-making processes of government.  This has never worked because the people become so occupied with their daily tasks that they will not properly study the issues, nor will they take the time to participate in extensive hearings before the vote is taken.  The Greeks tried to use democratic mass participation in the government of their city states and each time it ended in tyranny.

James Madison contrasted democracy and republican form of government  in The Federalist Papers, No. 10, Page 81. He went on to point out that an expanding country like the United States could not confine itself to the limitations of a democracy, but had to rely on a representative or republican form of government to protect the expanding interests of its people.   He said

In a democracy the people meet and exercise the government in person; in a republic, they assemble and administer it by their representatives and agents.  A democracy, consequently, must be confined to a small spot.  A republic may be extended over a large region (The Federalist Papers, No. 14, p. 100)

The 5000 Year Leap also explains the modern emphasis on “Democracy”.

The creation of the current confusion developed as a result of a new movement in the United States.  Approximately 100 people met in New York in 1905 and organized what they called the Intercollegiate Socialist Society (ISS).  Chapters were established on more than sixty college and university campuses coast to coast.   In time the co-directors explained that the ISS was set up to “throw light on the world-wide movement of industrial  democracy known as socialism” (The New York Times, Jan 28, 1919)

What was this new movement attempting to accomplish?  Socialism is defined as “government ownership or control of all means of production, (farms, factories, mines and natural resources) and all the means of distribution (transportation, communications and the instruments of commerce).  Obviously. this is not a democracy in the classical sense.  And it is the very antithesis of a free market economy in a republic.

This is where we are and where we are heading right now.  Plans are underway to seize all waterways which includes creeks, streams and rivers that may be running through private properties.  (seizure of natural resources) Seizure of the internet are also underway.  The current administration already “owns” or controls the print and TV media, threatening talk radio.  Ownership of the auto industry and financial markets are now government projects.  This looks like Socialism to me.

Child of the Great Depression

My Dad was an extraordinary man.  I didn’t know that he was extraordinary until he died at the age of 83.  It was my Mom who fed me, took care of me, listened to my problems and conveyed all of my problems to Dad who rarely ever confronted me.  He was irrevelant to my young life which was as much his fault as it was mine. After all, I was a girl. Girls don’t fish, or hunt deer, or fix cars.  Girls were supposed to do girlie things, according to Dad, not fish, not hunt, not fix things.  But I am getting ahead of myself.

Born in 1914, Dad was a child of the Great Depression.  He was a middle child of eight children; five brothers and two sisters.  His Dad was a truck farmer, a stone and brick layer, living from hand to mouth doing whatever could be done for pennies.  Dad walked five miles to school, rain or shine and graduated when he was in the eighth grade because in his family it took every person working full time to support the family.  There was one time that my grandfather hired himself and all of his sons to pick cotton for 25 cents  a day.  Dad didn’t much like that idea, so he and one of my uncles made a deal with my grandfather. Dad told Grandad that he would go fishing and make more money in a day than he would make picking cotton and would pay his share.  That was exactly what he did.  He fished for catfish, crappie and bass, took the fish to town and sold them for 10 cents a pound.  He paid Grandad $1.50 every week and pocketed the rest.

After Dad married my Mom on the eve of World War II,all my uncles joined the Army or the Navy, but Dad was rejected because he had lead poisoning.  He did have to work in the Defense Industry which happened to be Convair in Fort Worth, Texas. (Convair evolved into General Dynamics after the War)  During World War II, there was a shortage of rubber, largely because the rubber plantations in South America were owned or operated by Nazi sympathizers.  The rubber shortage meant that tires for airplanes were in short supply.  Planes would come in for landings and would blow out the tires which meant that they had to be changed each time they came in from a mission.  Convair was desperate to solve the problem of blown tires and it was my Dad that invented the motor than started the landing gear spinning before the plane hit the ground.  That solved the problem of blown tires and Convair got the credit.  Dad got a thank you.  He was happy with a thank you.  It never occurred to him to sue, ask for money or credit.

Dad saved enough money at Convair to buy a tiny house and acre of land in Graham, Texas.  In 1945, he added a new kitchen, a bathroom and two bedrooms.  He paid cash for all of it because he did not believe in being in debt to anyone.  Just outside the house he built a lean-to shack, constructed a big pond, dug a well and went into the fish bait business.  On the weekends, he and an uncle would seine minnows from the creek or river, bring them back home and Mom and I would sell fish bait all week long.  During the week, Dad was a brick and stone contractor and bricked or rocked  most of the homes in Graham.  There was nothing that Dad couldn’t make or invent, so he made his own water agitators, stink bait, hauling tanks, parts for the well, parts for the car and was very, very frugal in all his dealings.  He was an honest man who never had a bad word for his fellow man; he was a follower of Christ, a 32nd degree Freemason and earned the respect of all who knew him.  He hated Herbert Hoover, though, and blamed him for the Depression, but meanwhile praising FDR for getting them all out of the Depression.  Everyone believed that back then.

As our country speeds into a socialist state, I wonder if my grandsons will have the same kind of forbearance and ingenuity that my Dad had to withstand what is in store for them in the next few years. They have the same blood running through their veins, but have never known any kind of hardship like my Dad and Mom when they were children.  I wonder … will  they overcome these hardships?  Will they manage to feed themselves and their children?  Will they turn to God and repent for their sins and forgive the sins of those who created hell in their lifetime?  Will they make a better life for themselves and their children?  I have to believe they will.  After all, Dad was their ancestor.

“Change” That Nobody Understood

If you wonder where I have been, here it is:  There has been so much information coming at all of us so fast and furiously that I have been sitting in a corner sucking my thumb with a blanket over my head.

Folks, the citizens of the United States currently have a $8.9 TRILLION DOLLAR DEFICIT.  The Chief Pirate of the USA wants more, but is quick to disdain the price as “unsustainable”. So I have to ask the question “Why are you spending so much, feller?”  Then, “Why are you trying to destroy the United States of America?”  Then, “Why are you trying to bankrupt the poorest among you as well as the car industry, the banking industry, the insurance industry, and only Heaven knows what else before you are through?”

Take a look at www.cbo.gov/doc.cfm?index=10014 which is the Congressional Budget Office Income and Expenditure chart showing the 2009 budget.  The expenditures are larger than ever before and the income is way low.  Could this be because there are now 6 million people without jobs (and counting)?  Every month we are losing 650,000 jobs.  If that weren’t enough to make even the most insensitive and barbaric lawmakers have a stroke, we are also considering another tax called “Cap and Trade” (’scuse me; I mean Cap and Tax) raising fuel costs for an average family $1500 to $3000 per year.  Then there is “National Health Care” with new estimates costing into the trillions.

Sorry, Chief Pirate,  you are going to have to work a 48  hour day if you insist on being a banker, car maker, energy provider, insurance salesman and doctor all at the same time.  Really I would have to worry about your health to levy that much stress.  OH, you say you  have Czars in charge of all that?  You mean these guys who are unelected are going to have the final say in how I live?  Now that is really worrisome considering the folks you have in place.  Just look at Janet Napolitano – this lady thinks I am a terrorist and she told me so and never apologized for it; all she said was “this shouldn’t have been released”

Dear Leader, I gotta ask you, “Just who are you working for?”  Could it be George Soros, who has so generously funded your senatorial and presidential campaign? The George that is wanted in 3 countries for financial fraud?  Or is it the Labor Unions, those staunch Americans who demand tit for tat for their millions?  Maybe that ACORN organization that illegally registered voters and who are paid for by taxpayer money and guaranteed you the 2008 election?  O, so many questions, so few answers; I languish in uncertainty!

Is it any wonder I have abandoned you in my abismal state of mind? Forgive me.  From now on I will try to act adult-like despite an atmosphere of change.  O, George Bush, Bill Clinton, George Hubert Walker Bush — come back, come back, I didn’t mean everything I said! At least you were born American!

The Meatloaf Circus

Wall Street has always come up ways to make money.  Several years ago, it was corporate buyouts and arbitrage and then, some genius came up with derivatives. That is where the meatloaf theory came into being.  Instead of selling a mortgage note outright, maybe a few hundred mortgage notes were thrown into a hopper and out came a meatloaf.  It seems that anything that might be legal but unethical is Wall Street’s forte.  This is especially true of the housing crisis of 2008.  Banks and Wall Street sold, resold and resold again the mortgage notes of unsuspecting mortgagees.  All of these notes were dumped into the meatloaf and sold off in slices.  Oh, they were insured, of course, which is how AIG got into the picture.  Feeling really safe, purchasers of these slices of the meatloaf were entirely unaware it seems that there was nothing backing up the purchase except a piece of paper named securities.  All was well on Wall Street as long as the mortgagee was making payments.  Because dividends must be paid on the “securities”, the mortgagee’s interest payment went up staggeringly until they no longer were able to pay.

Journalist Bob Ivy tells an interesting story:

Joe Lents hasn’t made a payment on his $1.5 million mortgage since 2002.  That’s when Washington Mutual Inc first tried to foreclose on his home in Boca Raton, Florida.  WaMu failed to prove that it owned Lent’s mortgage note and dropped attempts to take his house.  Subsequent efforts to foreclose have stalled because no one has produced the paperwork. “If you are going to take my house away from me, you better own the note” said Lents, 63, the former chief executive officer of a now defunct voice recognition software company.

Judges in at least five states have stopped foreclosure proceedings because the banks that pool mortgaages into securities and the companies that collect monthly payments haven’t been able to prove they own the mortgages.  The confusion is another headache for U.S. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson as he revises rules for packaging mortgages into securities.

I think it’s going to become pretty hairy, said Josh Rosner, managing director at the NY based investment research firm Graham Fisher & Co.  Regulators appear to have ignored this, given the size and scope of the problem.

More than $2.1 trillion or 19% of outstanding mortgages have been bundled into securities by private banks, according to Inside Mortgage Finance, a Bethseda, Maryland-based industry newsletter.  Those loans may be sold several times before they land in a security.  Mortgage servicers who collect monthly payments and distribute them to security investors, can buy and sell the home loans many times.

So ~ given this information, why wouldn’t those who are foreclosed upon just be willing to stay put and wait for the market to sort itself out.  It is clear that when lenders cannot produce the original note to argue their position in court, that judges have no recourse but to rule in favor of the mortagee.  After all, there is such a thing as “squatters rights”, and if there is no note, then there cannot be debt.

I believe that this is the core of the problem that faces the nation in this economic crisis.  The Fed as well as Fanny and Freddie can’t produce original notes.  It is not that folks are in such need of a “stimulus” such as the $275 billion that Obama announced to help these “homeowners”.  The Fed is probably downright mad that there have been some homeowners have figured out like Joe Lentz in the story above that they can claim what is no longer secured. Funny thing to me that economists, commentators, news agencies, etc., have never presented this angle.  Who do you think will win this round — Wall Street or the Joe Lentz’s of the world?

The Cause of All Disease? Well, maybe

I like to read.  I read everything.  In the past few months, I have read tons of reports about acidity vs alkalinity. Well, as a matter of fact, I have been reading about it for more than ten years; but more facts have come to light in the past few years than ever before so I am willing to say, “hmm.  Maybe I’ll give this a try”.

Here is what I have learned: Your skin is acid.  Your blood is alkaline. Most all of the body functions require a slightly alkaline state, including immunity, cardiovascular, muscle, brain, tissue health and energy output functions.  Every minute of every day your body works to get rid of excess acid.  In fact, almost every cell of your body contains alkaline substances such as calcium, magnesium and bicarbonate.  These alkaline substances neutralize the acid in your body.  In addition,  your lungs regulate pH by breathing out acidic carbon dioxide.  Your kidneys filter out excess acid so that it’s excreted in your urine.  A perfectly choregraphed  balancing act, and it works wonders.

But, today there is a problem:  today’s  lifestyle creates a lot more acid than a body can handle.  Firstly, the typical American diet is filled with acid forming foods like wheat, dairy products, red meat, sugar and coffee.  In fact, the USDA did a study and found that the average American eats six times more acidic foods than alkaline ones.

Okay.  Here is a quick fix for too much pizza or steak and potato combination:  Try 1 tsp. of baking soda in 8 oz. water.  If 1 tsp. of baking soda does not work, try 1 1/2 or 2 tsp.  Baking soda is a bicarbonate and alkalizing in effect.  With a little thinking about it, you can recognize when your body is over acid.  Your mouth is a very good indicator.  Most of us produce mucous after eating dairy products; the mucous is acid. Wash the mouth out with baking soda and water.  Your breath will be as sweet as a newborn baby.  You may also help your body out by taking a calcium-magnesium-Vitamin D combination on a regular basis.  All of these elements are alkaline in nature.

Food isn’t the only culprit in producing acid conditions.  Frequent flying, air pollution and over the counter medications will make your body acidic.  If you are under physical or mental stress, you use more nutrients and generate more acidic waste products than your body can process and dispose of rapidly.  The aging process doesn’t help, either.  The older we get, the harder our bodies have to work to maintain an acid/alkaline condition.  After mid life,  your pancreas produces less bicarbonate that helps to keep your body alkaline so it starts taking calcium, magnesium and other alkaline minerals from your bones.

So how do you correct your acid/alkaline imbalance?  One way is to cut down on meats, dairy and starches while eating more fresh veggies.  This isn’t easy to do if you have a busy schedule.

One-third of American women get some form of cancer every year.  In women, the most prevalent form affecting about 200,000 women annually is breast cancer.  Other common cancers in women include colon, ovarian and lung. But when it comes to cancer prevention and treatment, studies show Cancer has a weak link — one that does not get much publicity. It is cancer’s reliance on an acidic environment in the body.  Cancer thrives in an overly acid environment.

Want to know if you are over acid?  Grab some pH strips from the drug store and check it for yourself.  The instructions on the strips will tell you how you rate on the acidity ladder.

Remember that the skin is an organ?  Strangely, the skin mantle is acid. That is why cider vinegar helps the skin to maintain its acid balance.  Do you get the itchies, break out with hives for no apparent reason, or just get red spots?  Try a poltice of cider vinegar and see if that doesn’t relieve it sweetly.

More on vinegar and its benefits in later posts.
